3D Weaving

The 3D weaving workshop/tutorial in Rhino and Grasshopper last week was intriguing, but I don’t think it is necessarily something I’ll pursue this semester. BUT, it was my first taste of Grasshopper, a technology I had heard much about while I was working in an architecture college but never had any direct experience with. I do really enjoy how you can feed in data from a variety of source and via some operations, a little math, and bam, you can make some really interesting things in 3D quite easily and ship it off to a laser cutter or 3D printer. Possibilities…
